Must Do’s For Every Austin Bachelorette Itinerary
A visit to Austin has the potential to be the perfect destination for a bachelorette party. This amazing city has a great combination of activities, history, culture, nightlife and food that is tough to beat. Therefore, it makes sense that many bachelorette party planners are starting to turn to Austin as their destination of choice when planning parties. If you’re considering Austin as your next destination, here are some of the things that you need to include on your itinerary if you want to have the best time possible during your visit.
Eat BBQ
A must have for every Austin bachelorette itinerary is a visit to Franklin BBQ. Considered by many to be one of the best barbecue joints in America, this joint has been cooking up their famous brisket, ribs, and pulled pork since 2009. If Franklin’s line is too long, Austin is considered to have the best BBQ in the nation, so there are many more options where you can get your fill for the ribs, brisket and all the fixins. Try la barbecue, Micklethwait, Salt Lick, or Terry Black’s.

Hit Up 6th Street and Rainey
When you’re in the mood for a night out on the town, there are tons of bars to choose from in Austin. If you’re looking for some live music and dancing, head over to The Continental Club, Mohawk or anywhere on Dirty 6th. For those who like a quieter bar setting, try checking out east 6th, like Whisler’s or Yellow Jacket Social Club. If you want to get rowdy with your crew, head over to Buford’s on West 6th and end your night at the Ranch. Into karaoke? Go to Emo’s. And for day drinking? Rainey Street is the place to be. We love Banger’s and Unbarlieveable.
Visit South Congress
Visit South Congress for some great boutiques, filled with antiques, vintage clothing, and cowboy boots. The area has some great eats too, like Hopdoddy, Guero’s, and Perla’s. This is must-do for any bachelorette group who loves to shop and eat.
Live Music At The White Horse
If you’re looking for a great night out in Austin, White Horse is the perfect spot. The live music and friendly atmosphere are sure to be a hit with any ladies night out. You can find the White Horse on the east side of town, close to downtown. They play some real Texas country and you can definitely find a cowboy to show you how to two-step.
Book Cocktail CowBoys
Speaking of cowboys, you must hire Cocktail CowBoys. Most groups don’t want to spend all weekend on 6th St, so the CowBoys bring the party to you. They will make your house party, brunch, game night, pool party, or any 2-3 hour part of your weekend the most fun you’ll have in Austin. From lasso thrower, bartender, snack fetcher to champagne sprayer, line dancer, Spotify DJ – you will have so many ways to enjoy yourself if you hire the Cocktail CowBoys. A unique, must do in Austin.

Walk Around Zilker Park And Barton Springs
Zilker Park is the perfect place to wind down after a long day of shopping and exploring. Located just southwest of Downtown, the 1,320-acre park has plenty of space to stretch out, get your blood flowing, soak up the sun, and get a great view of the city. Whether you want to enjoy a picnic while watching ducks and geese swim in the lagoon or work on your tan by laying out in one of two swimming pools (Barton Springs Pool), there’s something for everyone at Zilker Park!
These are the must-do’s for every Austin bachelorette itinerary. Yeehaw!
